These are oxidized silver with a torch-fired enameled copper dangle that features multiple layers of colored glass

which means rainwater won't collect and freeze if they are left outside in winter

I was invited to design centerpieces for an event at the National Press Club in Washington DC

I selected and hand cut different colored pieces of art glass, then foiled and soldered them and finished the seams with a pewter patina. To illuminate it, fill it with a string of 20 Christmas lights. There's an opening in the back for the cord to run through, so your lantern will sit flat on any surface you choose to display it on. ~7"h x 7"w
