In the right hands it produces exceptionally complex and aromatic wines. True to form, this wine is a deep purple hue in the glass. A nose of blackberry and dark chocolate. Full and round on the palate with firm tannins and a refreshing acidity. Steely, mineral notes and a long complex finish.
