Looking at the deck lists for either deck, its easy to see a lot of room for improvement

Ghired is pretty impressive by himself, producing a respectable 4/4 token when he enters the battlefield and populating when he attacks, so with just Ghired out, your first attack will be a total of 10 damage

Given this terrible value, I cant really recommend you go classic unless youre a true high roller

Also note that Gandalf will double your triggers for your legendary or artifact stuff entering or leaving the battlefield, like Solemn Simulacrum, Spine of Ish Sah, Ichor Wellspring or Astor, Bearer of Blades or even classics like Godo, Bandit Warlord
