The biggest challenge of this deck is building up the mana required to get even the cheapest creatures, planewalkers, and spells in the deck on the battlefield

It was expanded on in Magic 2015 and Modern Horizons , bringing the ability to artifacts while adding black, blue, and red convoke spells

This was an important thing to happen given the new set rotation policies, but still made for a bit of a disappointment when it came to fans opening packs and seeing so many cards that they already knew
